A young light-blonde girl is staring at the night sky and a Sakura tree which has its petals falling to the ground. The warm breeze seems just fine, blowing through the white and blue long dress the girl wears. She reached her hand high above to the beautiful petals, feeling what she had felt along time ago. To her, it felt like the day just passed by yesterday as it is still clear in her mind.
That day when he sat on the same tree, writing something on his favourite book which filled with simple words but full of meanings. When he saw the young girl with his amethyst orbs, a warm smile had curved at his lips.
“Harumi-Chan!” he called the blonde’s name and waves his hand to her.
Harumi replied a smile and took a few steps closer to the Sakura tree, not removing the young dark-brown boy from her sky-blue orbs. She placed her hand at the sky and thus, the hand is grabbed by the boy’s hand, lifting her on the strong tree branch until she can sees the beautiful sky closer than before.
Both of them talked to each other, exchanging their life stories with each other and crafting more memories of togetherness along the way. They smiled together, cries together, laughed together; sharing their feeling or hearts with each other until their lips stopped moving, feeling the wind still blowing through them with their eyes gazing at the sky decorated with glittering stars and a moon glowing beautifully.
The young girl closed her sky-blue eyes, titled her head until her head rested on the boy’s shoulder. Slowly, the dark-brown relied by placing his hand on the girl’s left shoulder, closing their distance and reached his other hand to the girl’s cold hand, holding it tightly, giving it some warmth.
Holding the warm hand tighter, Harumi turned her face to let her sky-blue eyes sees the dark-brown’s face. Slowly and gently, she whispered, “Suki da… Dakara omegai shimasu, soba ni ita ne…”
A sudden wind blow that made her eyes closed tightly and when she revealed back her sky-blue orbs, his image has disappeared. “Ah, sokka… Yume deshita…” she said and tears has begin to gather around her eyes. The memories where they meet each other laughed at each other and cried together flashing clearly inside her that makes her tears finally falls on her lap. ”Doushite? Soba ni itai... Soredake…” cried the blonde.
The nightfall has passed and the next day has come. On that night, the blonde has come once again. Closing to the tree, she reached the sky, grabbing and climbing the tree alone until she reached the place where it is very familiar to her.
The same night sky that filled with stars, the same wind breeze blowing through her and everything else are the same on that day where he and she first meet each other. Everything is the same but there is only one thing that missing and that thing is… Him; sitting by her side. Everything is the same but not the same without him. Once again, tears have gathered. “Hitori ni shinai de, omegai… Soba ni ite ne, omegai… Watashi ga matte iru masu.”
Another strong wind blows along with a lullaby. The voices that belong to the person she waited for. Harumi stopped crying and wiped away her tears. As the wind still blowing from her opposite, she placed her hand on her cheek, touching her ear to remove her light-blonde hair so that her hair won’t tickles her face and to see clearly who is standing down, under the tree where she sat.
“Ore no koko ni iru yo. Korekara mo, ore ga soba ni iru yo.”
[Ah, the truth is... I kinda dislike this story... Don't know why though...]
